Let's jump right in to the retweet-worthy content of the week:

Just last night, our Entrepreneur Services team analyzed business idea pitches from graduates of REDi (Re-Entry Entrepreneurship Development Initiative), a program of Business Ownership Initiative. This program was designed to offer training to pre-release and recently incarcerated individuals to provide an opportunity to restart their climb up the economic ladder through entrepreneurship.

Monday, our Entrepreneur Services team joined Senator Joe Donnelly at Kountry Kitchen, a recipient of our microloan program. Securing an official microloan designation from the U.S. Small Business Administration couldn't have been possible for our organization without the support of Senator Donnelly and his staff.

The 500 Festival Mini-Marathon was again named one of the 25 most iconic races in America that aren't full marathons. Congrats!

City-County Councillor Vop Osili became the President of the Indianapolis City-County Council this week after a contentious few weeks to begin 2018. Councillor Osili is a great public servant and we look forward to working with him in this new capacity to move Indianapolis forward.
