CISBDC Assists Fashion Innovators

Merging safety technology with fashion, Indianapolis-based Aubry Lane is an innovator in an industry known for pushing boundaries. Designing and manufacturing handbags that comes with a hidden (and removable) emergency 3G cell phone, SOS, and GPS tracking device called the Amulet , Aubry Lane wanted to launch their product in foreign markets and turned to Central Indiana Small Business Development Center (CISBDC) for help. Providing funding and export assistance, CISBDC helped Aubry Lane expand their global footprint by launching in Mexico and Brazil. Aubry Lane is anticipating foreign market success and used CISBDC’s export certified business coach to formulate a funding model to support international expansion.
