The Indiana State Fairgrounds & Event Center has named Sharon Smith, APR, Communications Manager.

Smith joins the organization after launching and running an Indianapolis-based PR firm, Maverick Public Relations, for twelve years. Along with strategic communications, Smith will lead continued efforts to engage the media and public by building relationships with key stakeholders and developing tactics that maximize engagement.
