General & Mrs. Umbarger to be honored with USO of Indiana Five Star Meda

The USO of Indiana is proud to announce that the recipients of its 2017 Five Star Medal are former Indiana Adjutant General R. Martin and Mrs. Rowana Umbarger. The Five Star Medal is symbolic of the five branches of the military: Army, Marine Corps, Navy, Air Force and Coast Guard. This prestigious award recognizes exemplary dedication and service to our military members and their families. The Umbargers were selected to be honored for their involvement serving on numerous local committees and non-profit boards, with a consistent focus on improving the quality of life for our military service membersand their families.
