GLOBAL INDY

The Indy Chamber is the convening body for global business in the Indianapolis region. It works to raise the nine-county metro’s international profile while increasing the region’s international business exchange, exports, and foreign direct investment. 

This work stems from the chamber’s leadership of regional participation in the Global Cities Initiative (GCI). Indianapolis is one of 32 metros participating in GCI, which is a joint project of the Brookings Institution and JPMorgan Chase. It helps metropolitan leaders advance and grow their regional economies by strengthening international connections and competitiveness.

The Indy Chamber is currently implementing the Metro Indianapolis Global Trade & Investment Strategy, which resulted from the Global Cities Initiative.
