USO Indianapolis Hosts Ribbon Cutting for New Center Upgrades

Indy Chamber News Archives

The USO of Indiana has received $17,500 in donations which has been used to upgrade a heavily utilized center at the airport and provide the equipment to open a new center at the Indianapolis Military Entrance Processing Site (MEPS). Funds were donated by the Armed Forces Families Foundation, a completely volunteer organization. Funds were raised in conjunction with local Taco Bell restaurants during their annual “Freedom Bells” fundraiser in an effort to help serve those who serve us. To celebrate the great news, and thank all those involved, a check presentation will be held on Thursday, June 30th. Military families may join in the celebration and are invited to enjoy the new facilities. Taco Bell will be on-site serving a limited menu to attendees.
