Through initiatives like #itsmycity (https://www.itsmycityindy.org/), we are partnering with local organizations to improve quality of life in Indy. We want to continue to grow that effort.

We understand that, as citizens, it’s sometimes easy to see needs in your local community, but hard to know how to help meet them. This year, our challenge aims to drive the creation of new ideas and tools that empower citizens to help meet the needs in their community.

Browning and Dora Hotel Company Break Ground on Hotel Nickel Plate, a Tapestry Collection by Hilton Hotel in Downtown Fishers

City officials gathered Friday morning with Browning Investments, Dora Hotel Company, and the project’s lender, First Internet Bank, to break ground on Hotel Nickel Plate, a Tapestry Collection by Hilton boutique hotel set to open in the vibrant Nickel Plate District in Spring of 2024. The 116-room luxury boutique hotel will span five stories while offering a full-service restaurant and direct access to the Nickel Plate Trail.
