The Indiana Repertory Theatre in downtown Indianapolis has been providing central Indiana with over 40 years of entertainment. From seasonal favorites like A Christmas Carol to literary classics like To Kill A Mockingbird, the IRT is popular among all age groups and backgrounds.

Committed to the community,  IRT provides continuing education opportunities for both youth and adults. Through theatre games and acting techniques, youth and adult acting classes provide the community with engaging ways to let people discover their creative sides!  An Indy Chamber member, the IRT also gives back to the community through various discounts, promotions and special events. For avid theater enthusiasts, the IRT offers custom built subscriptions so that you can see all of your favorite plays with ease.

The IRT employs local Hoosiers with a passion for all things theater, including actors, electricians, seamstresses, and carpenters, just to name a few. Many of the actors at the IRT play multiple roles in the same play. For instance, in the new comedy The Mystery of Irma Vep, just two actors play 7 different characters!
