Indianapolis Airport Authority partners with BlueIndy to offer car-sharing service

IND station expected to accommodate up to 20 electric cars by end of October

INDIANAPOLIS – The Indianapolis International Airport (IND) will offer customers a new, innovative and sustainable way to travel to and from our community’s airport. In the largest U.S. test of plug-in car sharing, IND will join the list of locations where BlueIndy’s small hatchback electric cars will be available. The French company selected Indianapolis as its first U.S. city for service, with the goal of installing up to 200 stations by the end of the year.
