INDIANAPOLIS (July 28, 2015) – Element Three, a marketing agency serving clients nationally, announced plans today to expand its operation here, creating up to 37 new jobs by 2024.
The homegrown Hoosier business will invest $881,125 to expand its operations on Indianapolis’ north side. After growing its footprint by 200 percent in March 2014, the company now occupies two floors at The Pyramids to support a growing client base that covers a mix of industries, including finance, insurance, technology and manufacturing.
“Element Three is creating quality Hoosier jobs that help Indiana stand out with an unemployment rate that is now below 5 percent for the first time in seven years,” said Victor Smith, Indiana Secretary of Commerce. “When companies like Element Three find success with clients across the nation, they could choose to create new jobs anywhere. But after operating in Indiana’s affordable, stable business climate, they know they’re gaining a competitive advantage by choosing to stay and expand here in the Hoosier State.”
Element Three currently employs 39 full-time Indiana associates, including two recent graduates participating in the Orr Fellowship. With a team largely comprised of alumni from Indiana-based universities, Element Three is currently hiring for a number of positions on its creative team, including copywriters, art directors and designers. Interested applicants may apply online through the company’s career page.
"We are really proud of the growth we have experienced in the past 10 years, but we're not finished yet,” said Tiffany Sauder, president of Element Three. “The business environment Indiana has worked to create - to incentivize continued growth and investment into the business - is an incredible asset. This, coupled with a crazy-smart team and clients that push us to do great work, makes me even more energized for the next 10 years."
Founded in 2006, Element Three is a marketing agency specializing in serving high-growth companies, with services including brand development, marketing strategy and creative implementation. The company’s revenue has more than doubled in the last three years, while also helping its clients increase revenue by 350 percent since 2010.
Just last week, Element Three was recognized as one of the fastest-growing private companies by Indianapolis Business Journal and is the only marketing agency to be included on the list two years in a row. Also, last month the company was honored with a national silver American Advertising Award by the American Advertising Federation. In 2014 Element Three was included on the Inc. 5000 list.
The Indiana Economic Development Corporation offered Element Three, Inc. up to $600,000 in conditional tax credits and up to $30,000 in training grants based on the company's job creation plans. These incentives are performance-based, meaning until Hoosiers are hired, the company is not eligible to claim incentives. The city of Indianapolis supports the project at the request of Develop Indy, a business unit of the Indy Chamber.
Indiana’s unemployment rate fell to 4.9 percent in June, making it the third month in a row that Indiana has experienced a significant decline in unemployment. With the drop, Indiana’s unemployment rate now stands below 5 percent for the first time since February 2008 and is the lowest rate among all of Indiana’s neighboring states.
