Indianapolis Business Journal Ranks Rook Security As The City’s Second-Fastest Growing Company

Indianapolis Business Journal’s Fast 25 is an annual list of the fastest-growing Indianapolis-based private companies based on revenue growth over a three-year period. Companies were eligible if revenue increased each of the three previous fiscal years, if revenue exceeded $1 million in fiscal year 2012, and if the company was founded prior to 2012.

Rook Security recently expanded to 55 full-time employees and 18 interns from local universities, nearly tripling its workforce in 2014. The intern program provides Indiana undergraduates with real-world experience in security, marketing, sales, and finance with one of the nation’s leading information security providers. In addition to the downtown headquarters and Security Operations Center, Rook Security also opened a second location in Carmel this year to accommodate for the company; rapid growth.

Rook Security’s latest recognition follows a recent line of accolades in business achievement. In 2014, Rook Security earned a coveted spot on the renowned Inc. 500 to make it the No. 9 fastest-growing privately held security company in the United States. Rook Security was recognized by TechPoint the same year as the fastest-growing technology company in Indiana. Rook Security was also honored as one of the 2014 Indiana Companies to Watch by the Indiana Office of Small Business and Entrepreneurship (OSBE) and the Indiana Small Business Development Center (ISBDC).
