In 2011, Develop Indy and the City of Indianapolis combined efforts to create a position that would help local businesses navigate the regulatory and permitting processes. As an Indy Chamber member, you have access to this position’s free services.  

Bringing together the City of Indianapolis’ Department of Metropolitan Development, Code Enforcement, and utilities, the Indy Business Acceleration Team helps local businesses identify issues before businesses ever step into a government office. Other benefits include: reduced waiting periods for licensing and permitting, one-on-one consulting, advocate at the local and state permitting levels.
