The leaves aren’t the only things changing these days…we’ve made a few changes of late as well. It’s been a busy summer for the team here at C-ISBDC when in June we relocated to the space of our newest regional host organization, the Indy Chamber. This strategic partnership consolidates regional small business resources for better service to Central Indiana entrepreneurs.
Lt. Governor Ellspermann noted, "Indiana's network of Small Business Development Centers provides valuable support to entrepreneurs and small business owners throughout the state. This partnership with the Indy Chamber establishes a center that will serve our Central Indiana clients with the highest quality, effective resources to launch or grow their businesses. These new and developing businesses are vitally important for job creation and the economic future of our state."
This partnership will allow the C-ISBDC and our clients access to resources, education and training, and special initiatives offered by the Indy Chamber.
"With our existing range of economic development programs ranging from entrepreneurial services to regional business attraction, the Indy Chamber is poised to amplify the goals and programs of the C-ISBDC," said Michael Huber, president and CEO of the Indy Chamber. "By aligning our microlending program with the C-ISBDC's proven track record in assisting businesses in securing capital, the Indy Chamber now provides the regional business community with a wider range of funding resources to help businesses grow."
Being housed in the flagship economic development organization in Indianapolis, this new location provides a wonderful opportunity for C-ISBDC clients to access numerous resources under one roof. Streamlining the resources of the C-ISBDC with the Indy Chamber will expand both organizations' impact on small business, and help businesses become more profitable and successful in Central Indiana.
