The Global Cities Initiative, a joint project of The Brookings Institution and JPMorgan Chase, helps metropolitan leaders grow their regional economies by strengthening international connections and competitiveness. As a participant in this initiative, the Indy Chamber is reshaping regional economic development practices by approaching everything we do from a global perspective. Every function of our work including business attraction, existing business expansion, entrepreneur services, advocacy, and even networking should be practiced with this global mindset to compete on an international stage. Seeking global business for our region by providing export assistance and seeking new projects from outside the U.S. is key to the success of our region.
