Workplace Safety & Health Co. Hires New Industrial Hygienist

INDIANAPOLIS, IN – Workplace Safety & Health Co., Inc., an occupational health and safety consulting business specializing in risk management, has recently hired a new Industrial Hygienist. “Workplace Safety & Health Co., Inc. seeks to provide outstanding service to our client base which continues to grow,” owner Richard Griffith, CIH said. “We are happy to add to our staff another industrial hygienist to meet our increasing workload.” 

William Moore is an Industrial Hygienist who graduated from Purdue University in December 2015 with a Bachelor of Science in Occupational Health Sciences and a Bachelor of Environmental Science in Environmental Health Sciences. Moore’s responsibilities at Workplace Safety & Health Co. include industrial hygiene air sampling and noise dosimetry sampling.

Moore recently completed an internship with the Radiological and Environmental Management Department at Purdue where he gained experience conducting a respiratory protection program, testing lead-based paint, marking and creating a catalog of indoor as well as outdoor confined spaces, and helped mitigate potential health hazards associated with research-related tasks at Purdue.

Griffith stated, “We’re excited to have Will on board. He brings valuable experience to our company that will ultimately benefit our customers.” Workplace Safety & Health Co., Inc. is an Indianapolis-based consulting firm specializing in industrial hygiene, qualitative exposure assessments, confined space hazard evaluations, job safety analyses, indoor air quality monitoring, vapor intrusion monitoring, lockout/tagout procedure authoring and industrial noise monitoring and mapping. In 2015, Workplace Safety & Health Co. Inc. celebrated its 15-year anniversary and Griffith celebrated a 30-year milestone in the industrial hygiene and safety consulting business.
