“Community Health Network has been a tremendous partner of ours in training nurses throughout Central Indiana,” said WGU Indiana Chancellor Allison Barber. “We relish any opportunity to recognize their nurses and to celebrate all who serve as nurses in Indiana.”

At this time, more than 70 Community Health Network nurses and support staff are enrolled at WGU Indiana, pursuing bachelor’s or master’s degrees in health care.

“It is important to take the time, as WGU Indiana has done, to recognize the essential and amazing work of nurses at Community Health Network,” said Jean Putman, R.N., MS, CPHQ, Chief Nursing Officer, Community Health Network. “We are grateful to have the support of one of Indiana’s most innovative institutions of higher learning.”
