FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE (December 12, 2019) — Indianapolis-based and Certified B

Corporation, Selfless.ly has closed pre-seed funding from local investors. The turnkey

corporate social responsibility platform is the first of its kind to provide the tools

necessary for companies of all sizes to make a bigger impact in their communities.

The funding round was led by Indiana Spine Ventures and included participation from

Chris & Amy Baggott, Jay Love, Angie Stocklin, Jane Martin, Mark Hill, Kara & Eugene

O’Donnell, and David Schisla. “Our pre-seed round of funding is a testament to the

diverse local investors who’ve shown they value the impact of Selfless.ly and diverse

entrepreneurs,” says co-founder and CEO Joshua Driver. “This raise will allow our

company to roll out the platform to a larger audience, and enter into several new

national partnerships which will directly benefit great causes that our clients,

employees, and communities care about.”

“In Indiana, we’re committed to cultivating an entrepreneurial ecosystem that offers the

support, resources and access to capital that startups like Selfless.ly need to innovate

and grow their operations,” said Indiana Secretary of Commerce Jim Schellinger. “We’re

excited to support Selfless.ly through their continued success in Indiana as the

company scales its CSR platform, partnering with global businesses committed to

increasing their social impact and driving change in their communities.”

The funding arrives as Selfless.ly releases its beta program to companies in Central

Indiana and looks to make key hires in early 2020 in client success, engineering, and

sales.

Selfless.ly’s platform is now available for companies to empower their employees in

workplace philanthropy. By giving choice to employees, while seamlessly tracking &

managing all corporate volunteering/giving, Selfless.ly is a smart choice for any

philanthropic company. Selfless.ly won the 2018 Demo Day pitch at StartOut Chicago,

was a finalist at Techpoint’s Mira awards for new tech startup of the year in 2019,
