A Google Partners Connect Event: Digital Insights for Home Services Companies

INDIANAPOLIS, November 4, 2015—Well Done Marketing will host a free Google-sponsored event, “Google Partners Connect | Home Services,” from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on November 19 at its Fountain Square office at 1043 Virginia Ave., Ste. 1A. The event will explore ways companies that provide home services (plumbing, electrical, HVAC, painting, moving, appliance repair, and the like) can increase their online business. Complimentary lunch from Duos will be provided. Guests must preregister. Attendance is limited to 22.

The presentation will begin at noon and be delivered via livestream by Ben Tyson, head of sales enablement for search engine marketing and directories partners at Google, and Tyler Johansson, strategic partner manager in channel sales at Google. Topics will include: consumer search trends for home services, the importance of shifting to digital, and ways home services companies can drive success in new markets through digital advertising.

Tyson has spoken previously about today's hyper-informed consumer and what he calls The Zero Moment of Truth: “Seventy-eight percent of consumers have made their purchasing decision before they contact your business. They know what they need. They know how much it should cost and they know what your consumers say about you.

“As businesses, we need to optimize the consumer who is hyper-informed.”

Abby Reckard, Well Done Marketing’s director of digital strategy, will answer questions and speak about Well Done Marketing’s role as a newly certified Google Partner.

The Google Partners program links companies with Google partner agencies who are certified in the latest Google tools and products, as well as industry best practices in online marketing.
