Leadership United, United Way of Central Indiana’s community leadership and board development program, is now accepting applications for a new class of corporate and community who are looking to develop their skills as nonprofit board members.
Who are we looking for?
Leadership United participants are searching for professional development and are passionate about getting involved in the community but may not know where or how to begin. They may have little experience in the nonprofit sector and are looking to build their skills or they may have some experience yet realize they have more to learn to be effective and impactful in their volunteer roles.
The Leadership United program has existed for over 30 years to develop leaders, involve them in community problem-solving and equip them to be change-agents for our most important community priorities. Now, as much as ever, we need to continue our work in building capacity in this way for community-based organizations in Central Indiana.
How can you help?
Please take a few minutes today to think of someone – or maybe a few select people – who you believe would be great candidates for our next cohort of Leadership United. Submit a nomination by clicking here and we’ll send them information about the program and how to apply.
