The International Center Now Accepting Nominations for the 2022 Global Impression Award

(INDIANAPOLIS – May 25, 2022) - The International Center is now accepting nominations for the 2022 Global Impression Award. Established in 2018, this award celebrates emerging Hoosier leaders whose work directly impacts the global community within Indiana, helping create a vibrant place to live and work while valuing all cultures. Nominations will be accepted from May 25 through June 30.

The three award finalists will be announced later this summer. Finalists and the winner will be recognized at the International Citizen of the Year event honoring Tamika Catchings at the Indiana Roof Ballroom on October 18th, 2022. Last year’s recipient of the 2021 Global Impression Award was Andrea Richter-Garry, vice President of International Engagement for the Indiana Economic Development Corporation (IEDC). Richter-Garry received this award as she has successfully headed IEDC’s international business development team, which includes 7 international offices around the globe, and manages foreign government relationships for the state of Indiana.

Kevin Henderson, Vice President of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion at UnitedHealth Group and member of the Global Impression Award committee commented, “I am very excited to continue to recognize and celebrate the meaningful effort Hoosiers are making every day to better connect with other cultures, countries and communities.”

Former nominees include professionals in a variety of industries, including medicine, education, and civil service. The nomination form should include a current resume and/or CV and/or public LinkedIn profile and press clippings and letters of recommendation if available.
