As a seasoned litigator and advisor, Hollis works with clients proactively to avoid employment disputes, although he is a fierce advocate on behalf of management when litigation arises. In his practice, Hollis provides counsel on wage and hour claims, defends against class action lawsuits, represents employers in federal and state audits and investigations, defends employers facing harassment, discrimination and retaliation claims, and conducts internal investigations.
In addition, Hollis regularly advises employers on HR management issues and has assisted many employers navigating COVID-related workplace matters. Industry sectors in which Hollis has extensive experience representing clients on employment issues include higher education, religious institutions and non-profit organizations. He holds a Juris Doctor from Indiana University Maurer School of Law – Bloomington and a Bachelor of Arts from Taylor University.
