Citizens encouraged to bike to the polls
INDIANAPOLIS- Indianapolis Cultural Trail Inc, the non-profit that operates Pacers Bikeshare, announces free bike share rides on Election Day, Tuesday November 3. Anyone wanting to take advantage of the free rides on Election Day can do so by checking out a bike at any of the 50 Pacers Bikeshare stations. “We’re providing free access to Pacers Bikeshare on Election Day again this year so give residents a free and fun way to get to their polling location. With over 50 Pacers Bikeshare stations located downtown in surrounding neighborhoods and along the city’s greenway network Pacers Bikeshare is a convenient way to get to many polling locations.”
Pacers Bikeshare stations can be found by downloading the BCycle mobile app, visiting PacersBikeshare.org. A credit card must still be used when checking out a bike. Any trip over 60 minutes will incur a usage fee of 15 cents per minute.
