Leadership Indianapolis’ upcoming Public Safety & Criminal Justice discussion series will center the perspective of citizens with lived experience and those working to create change in our community.
Often, conversations around public safety and criminal justice focus primarily on efforts to curb crime. However, the experiences of those who seek to create collaboration, reconciliation and progress in these areas present another valuable opportunity for discussion and excavation.
Attendees of this discussion series will:
- Learn about programs created to prevent recidivism for the formerly incarcerated
- Engage with leaders of initiatives that provide community support in traumatic times
- And hear from community workers involved with collaborative efforts around repairing the relationship between citizens and law enforcement
