Indiana Farm Bureau Insurance to host Hackathon

INDIANAPOLIS – Indiana Farm Bureau Insurance (IFBI) is hosting its first ever hackathon. The hackathon is an effort to identify hidden talent in the current workforce and to establish a more collaborative environment. The hackathon will be a sprint-like event, lasting several days where participants will develop software that could potentially better IFBI. The event will kick off on Thursday, July 20, and will continue throughout the weekend ending on Saturday, July 22, at 4 p.m., where first and second place prizes will be awarded. 

WHAT: Indiana Farm Bureau Insurance employees will be participating in a company-wide hackathon, working on solving internal business problems. 

WHEN: Kickoff event: Thursday, July 20, 2017, 6-11:00 p.m.

WHERE: Indiana Farm Bureau Insurance; 225 S. East Street, Indianapolis.
