The Indiana Careers in Construction Association is proud to announce the addition of construction industry veteran Lynn Busby as the new Director of Community Outreach. The new position is designed to serve as a liaison for schools, educators, guidance counselors, coaches and community workforce development leaders. In this capacity, Busby will focus on critical construction curriculum development in Indiana high schools.
Busby brings more than twenty years of experience in and around the construction industry. She is coming to the Indiana Careers in Construction Association from her most recent position as Business Development Manager with Wilhelm Construction.
“Lynn is the perfect industry veteran to lead our outreach to Indiana high schools,” said Jim Patterson, chair of the Indiana Careers in Construction Association. “She brings a strong understanding of the wide variety of skilled trades necessary to deliver a complex construction project. In addition, she is passionate about attracting a new generation of Hoosier tradesmen and women to our industry.”
The Indiana Careers in Construction Association (ICCA) represents more than 60 different construction apprenticeship training facilities throughout Indiana. The mission of the ICCA is to educate career bound and college bound Hoosiers about educational and career opportunities in the construction industry by offering modernized recruitment and industry common application tools.
