INDIANAPOLIS – Yesterday, Impact 100 Greater Indianapolis, a charitable women’s giving circle, announced during their “Big Reveal” that five Central Indiana nonprofit organizations will compete for a $100,000 high-impact grant at their Annual Awards Celebration. The Celebration will take place at The Heirloom at N.K. Hurst June 13 at 5 p.m.

2023 Change Maker finalists in the five focus areas are:

Arts, Culture & Preservation: Indiana Artisan

Education: Freewheelin’ Community Bikes, Inc.

Environment & Animal Welfare: Community Alliance for the Far East Side (CAFÉ)

Family: Unconditional

Health & Wellness: Step-Up, Incorporated

At the Celebration, each Finalist will describe their project.  Then Impact 100 members will cast their vote to determine the award winner. One nonprofit will be awarded the 2023 Impact 100 Change Maker $100,000 high-impact grant, with the other four finalists receiving community support grants of $13,000 each. Following the celebration, the women of Impact 100 will have surpassed $3.01 million in grants awarded to Central Indiana nonprofit organizations during its 18-year history.

“Over the past 18 years, it has been an honor to see the direct life-change that Impact 100 Greater Indianapolis provides to local nonprofits,” said Impact 100 Greater Indianapolis president, Julianne Robinson. “These five finalists embody the exact mission and vision for our women’s giving circle and we hope the larger Indianapolis community joins us to honor them and select our 2023 Change Marker during our Annual Awards Celebration on June 13.”

Tickets are $83 per person, or $68 per person if purchased before May 31. Impact 100 is also still accepting sponsorships, which can be found here, through June 1.

To date, 20 local nonprofits have received $100,000 in high-impact grants and 54 have received unrestricted, community grants because of Impact 100 Greater Indianapolis’ collective giving. Membership funds are used exclusively for the purpose of grant-making, with more than 180 women collectively giving $152,000 to the 2023 grant pool.

Only current Impact 100 members are eligible to vote for the selection of the 2023 Change Maker, however, the organization encourages guests to attend the celebration when the winner of the 2023 $100,000 Change Maker grant will be announced on June 13th at the Annual Awards Celebration.
