Hope for Indy (#hopeforindy) – a digital awareness campaign to bring hope and encouragement to people all throughout Central Indiana – launched on Sunday, May 3, and involves more than 30 local churches. These congregations are collaborating to elevate one important message together. Their consistent, unified message is that the churches throughout our city care about the people of Central Indiana. These churches want to bring peace, hope and help to all throughout the Coronavirus pandemic.
Through the Hope for Indy campaign, participating churches and church members/attendees will share stories using some common graphics and the #hopeforindy hashtag via social media to get the word out that there is hope, help and resources that churches are making available to support people during these challenging times. The Hope for Indy campaign is being organized through local churches and Fishhook, an Indianapolis-based communications agency that works with churches. This group is leading this effort to help churches tell positive stories of hope to encourage the Central Indiana community.
