Franklin College’s Final Convocation in Series Includes Live Radio Interview on WFYI’s “No Limits”

Franklin College will host the final convocation in its 2018-19 Convocation Lecture Series on Thursday, Feb. 21 at 7 p.m. in the Branigin Room, Napolitan Student Center.  “Bending the Arc: How Two College Friends Have Eased Suffering Around the World,” will be a conversation between Dr. Paul Farmer and Todd McCormack, moderated by John Krull, director of the Pulliam School of Journalism at the college.

The convocation will focus on how a friendship formed in college helped make the world a better place.  It will explore how Farmer and McCormack became friends and how they decided they could work together to help people.

The convocation will be preceded by a 1 p.m. interview in the Branigin Room with Dr. Paul Farmer and Todd McCormack during a live broadcast of WFYI’s “No Limits,” hosted by John Krull.  The broadcast will focus on the history and work of Partners In Health.  The discussion will trace the reasons Farmer and McCormack founded the organization and what they hope it will accomplish.

Both events are free and open to the public.
