OCTOBER 20TH AND 21ST FALL 2021 MIP USER GROUP
DWD is offering 2 (two) MIP User Group live webcast options at different times for you to select from. There will be no on-site meetings this year.
Please note: The session agenda and content are the same for both webcasts.
Wednesday, October 20th, 1:00pm – 4:00 pm
Thursday, October 21st, 9:00 am – 12 Noon
- Bank Recs – Ever wonder what affect unlocking rec has on suspense items; how to clear only part of a deposit; or how a positive pay file could improve your internal controls? If so, you’ve come to the right place. We’ll address all of these issues and more related to best practices for bank rec.
- Fixed Assets – The latest addition to “MIP Modern” is the roll out of the fixed asset module – new in version 2021.1. We’ll show you what that looks like; how best to navigate the screens; and some fixed asset tips and tricks that are sometimes learned the hard way.
- Tips & Tricks – Including the affect closing a fiscal year has on running a balance sheet; drilldown features available in MIP; helpful information found under the Help menu (would you expect it to be anywhere else?); and so much more.
- Payroll/HR/EWS – Beginning with the third hour (yes, you can count on this session starting right on the hour) we will switch our focus to payroll. If you’re struggling with Excel to spread benefit and tax expenses over multiple grants, this is for you. And what about tracking garnishments or certifications? And speaking of spreadsheets, there’s got to be a better way to track employee leave balances (and so there is!). We’ll cover these topics and more in the last hour of our webinar.
Free – We want everyone to be able to attend this webcast. So, we are once again waving the cost of the Fall MIP User Group.
3 CPE credits will be available upon request if you attend the live webcast.
Unable to attend the live webcast? Go ahead and Register Today for one of the webcasts and we will send you a link to the recording.
