Leadership Johnson County will host an Emotional Intelligence workshop on Friday, October 4, 2019 in the Franklin College Dietz Center from 9:00 a.m. – Noon.
The session will focus on empathy, is a core component of Emotional Intelligence. While empathy does come naturally to some people, most of us need help and practical tips, to become more aware and in touch with those around us.
Our facilitators, Dr. Carolyn Goerner, IU Kelley School of Business professor and owner of Practical Paradigms; and Brad Coy, Greenwood Fire Department Assistant Chief, will offer specific ways to build empathy and thereby increase emotional intelligence.
The event will be held at Franklin College in Franklin, Indiana. Tickets are $49 per person for Indy Chamber members and $59 per person for non Indy Chamber members. Group discounts are available.
This workshop is underwritten by Greenwood Christian Church and Geek in Pink.
