Indianapolis, IN – Axia Technology Partners (AxiaTP), LLC, a complete technology provider, has partnered with Traders Point Christian Schools (TPCS) to create a new multi-year student STEM program that integrates into TPCS’s Schools within a School model. During the first year of the program, AxiaTP will provide dedicated team members as technical resources to students of the school enrolled in the robotics program in the TPCS School of Applied Sciences.

Plans for the second year of the program are to build upon the dedicated resources by creating unique internships at AxiaTP for five students in the program during the 2020-21 school year. Included in each student’s internship is the benefit of obtaining the student’s choice between the Microsoft Cloud or the Cisco CCNA Certifications.

“This partnership with a company with similar values is a great move forward and is indicative of the momentum developing at TPCS. This joint effort will benefit our students in a transformational way,” explained Paul Williams, Traders Point Christian Schools’ Head of School.

With Schools Within a School, TPCS has implemented four specialized programs: School of Applied Sciences (robotics, engineering, computer sciences, etc), School of Biomedical Sciences, School of Leadership (business, entrepreneurship) and a School of Fine Arts. Students interested in a school of choice must maintain a high standard of achievement to earn a distinction in their chosen field on their diploma. This exciting partnership with AxiaTP is an incredible opportunity for TPCS students, particularly in the School of Applied Sciences.

Roger Veach, President and CEO at AxiaTP explained, “Growing up in the Midwest and being involved in the tech industry for the last 25 years, this program is extremely important to me and our company. AxiaTP’s core purpose is to help people, whether that’s solving business problems with technology or growing the communities we are involved in. So, to be able to create a program that allows young adults to stay in Indiana and pursue a career in technology while continuing Indianapolis’ path of growth as a national technology hub aligns perfectly with our mission and values. I’m very excited to see what the students who are involved in this program will accomplish and how they will grow to become leaders in the Indianapolis tech community!”

The multi-year program will officially begin in January 2020.
