Stephanie Truchan has joined Katz Korin Cunningham as a member of the business law / real estate practice group. Stephanie focuses her practice on commercial real estate transactions, including development, financing, acquisitions, dispositions, as well as land use and zoning matters. With a background in urban planning, she is in a unique position to identify what it will take to close a deal. Stephanie enjoys assisting real estate developers with stakeholder engagement strategies and has experience advocating before planning boards and other government bodies.
Outside of the office, Stephanie serves as Vice Chair of the Neighborhood Christian Legal Clinic’s Young Professionals Advisory Board. She is also the Alumna Advisor for the Delta Lambda Chapter of Delta Delta Delta Fraternity at Butler University and an active member of the Indianapolis Alumnae Chapter.
Stephanie attended Valparaiso University for her undergraduate studies where she earned a B.A. in English. She then earned her M.S. in Urban Planning and Policy from the University of Illinois at Chicago. Stephanie received her J.D. from Indiana University’s Robert H. McKinney School of Law as well as earning her Certificate in Energy, Environmental & Natural Resources Law.
