KSM Consulting to open state-of-the-art office and innovation center on Monument Circle featuring collaborative space, flexible technology
Nearly half of consulting staff to be co-located downtown
INDIANAPOLIS (February 6, 2018) – KSM Consulting (KSMC) will complete construction in April on a new office and innovation center on Monument Circle. KSMC111 will be the new office for the Data Analytics and Project Management practices, about half of the company’s 100+ employees.
The centerpiece is a collaboration and innovation space called Due North. The name refers both to its orientation within the building and KSMC’s approach to problem solving that directs clients toward success. KSMC’s incorporation of Design Thinking methodology into its client service influenced the design of the space to include flexibility and intuitive technology allowing for maximum collaboration.
“Our primary objective at KSMC has always been to help our clients and each other succeed. KSMC111 will serve as a dedicated space where we help clients get outside of their normal working environments and into one where creativity and productivity drive intentional outcomes and impact organizational success,” said Charlie Brandt, Chief Executive Officer of KSM Consulting.
Brandt said KSMC111 will also create more opportunities for strategic planning, organizational improvement, technology optimization, and development of management- and executive-level professionals as well as emerging leaders.
“We’re proud to welcome KSMC111 to Monument Circle, as there is an incredible economic benefit to having a space like this in the heart of our city. Even more, KSMC111 can serve as a hub that brings stakeholders together, allowing them to explore solutions to some of the biggest challenges and opportunities facing our community,” said Mayor Joe Hogsett.
KSMC spent over a year on the design of KSMC111, executing the kind of employee engagement and partnership that KSMC recommends for its clients. After extensive employee input, KSMC handpicked top-of-their-class local companies to help design and build out the new office, including DELV Design, DORIS Research, RJE Business Interiors, Purposeful Design, and Charles C. Brandt Construction. Together, these teams have developed a space that will foster creativity and be functional for KSMC employees’ day-to-day needs.
KSMC111 features 270-degrees of windows that provide natural lighting and a great view of Monument Circle. In addition to Due North, the facility offers spaces for brainstorming, project collaboration, and focused, individual work.
The space is scheduled to open mid-April 2018. It will primarily be used by KSM Consulting clients and partners. However, it will also host events for related community initiatives.
