KERAMIDA Welcomes Chris Jaros, P.E. to Land Services Division

KERAMIDA is pleased to announce that Chris Jaros, P.E. has joined our Indianapolis headquarters as Vice President in the Land Services Division on June 11. Mr. Jaros comes to KERAMIDA with over twenty years of experience in environmental consulting. His technical expertise in investigation, risk assessment and remediation of various contaminants including petroleum, chlorinated solvents, heavy metals and PCBs, couples with negotiation skills used with regulators, legal counsel, and stakeholders to achieve best management practices and cost reduction for his clients across various industries.

Mr. Jaros is a trusted consultant with local officials, state and federal regulators within the environmental industry. He provides expert witness and litigation support in matters concerning environmental issues and is a reviewer of other consultant’s work for the insurance industry, legal counsel and municipalities. Mr. Jaros also provides consultation to municipalities on various land development risk and cleanup evaluations, redevelopment of brownfield sites and wellfield protection assessments/groundwater protection strategies.

Along with having 10-hour Construction Management and Project Management training certificates, he is familiar with Six Sigma principles which have helped past employers improve efficiencies, clarify processes, guide careers and increase client satisfaction while increasing company profits.

Mr. Jaros received a B.S. in Civil Engineering from the University of Valparaiso in Indiana and is a registered professional engineer in the state of Indiana.

Franklin College Establishes Digital Fluency Advisory Council

Franklin College recognizes it is not enough to equip students with the skills they need to be successful in a digital world, they must be offered exposure to relevant opportunities as well. To aid in this endeavor, the college established the Franklin College Digital Fluency Advisory Council to serve as a pipeline for students into jobs that best utilize the training and education they received at Franklin.
