Indy Chamber Announces 42nd Annual Monumental Award Winners
(INDIANAPOLIS) -Rundell Ernstberger Associates received the highest honor of the Monumental Award tonight at the Indy Chamber’s annual Monumental Awards gala for the Richard G. Lugar Plaza project. The award ceremony recognizes the most significant achievements by individuals and businesses that contribute to excellence in architecture, engineering, interior design, landscape architecture, construction, real estate development, neighborhood revitalization, innovate reuse and public art throughout the Indianapolis region.
“The Monumental Award winner showcases the community coming together and creating a positive experience that all can enjoy. The Richard G. Lugar Plaza represents the past and present and gives our community a space to come together.” – explains Justin Ferguson, Assistant Dean, College of Architecture and Planning, Ball State University and Chairman of the Monumental Awards Committee.
The winner of the Monumental Award was selected by an impartial jury of community and professional leaders from the Indianapolis region. All awards were deliberated by sanctioning organizations selected from the specific area of discipline for each category.

Landscape Architecture: Richard G. Lugar Plaza submitted by Rundell Ernstberger Associates.
Neighborhood Revitalization: Riverside High School submitted by Indianapolis Classical Schools.
Public Art: PreEnactIndy submitted by Harrison Center.
Real Estate Development: Dorman SQ submitted by Stenz Corporation.
People’s Choice: Blake’s Children’s Garden Submitted by The Hagerman Group
