Financial Center recently honored long-time Board member, William Campbell for his 25 years of service to the Credit Union.

!ndianapolis, Ind. - Financial Center First Credit Union recently honored long-time Board member, William Campbell. Campbell served on the Credit Union’s Board for 24 years holding various positions including Chairman of the Board from 1993-2007, Chairman of the CUSO Board from 2004-2014, and as a member of other committees.

Campbell’s more than 30-year career at the Department of Defense and Defense Finance and Account Service made him a vital resource in making Financial Center a well-capitalized and financially stable credit union. In 2014, Financial Center was named a ‘Top 200 Healthiest Credit Union’ in the country by DepositAccounts.com.

Campbell’s career ties to the military allowed him to further serve the credit union movement as a past Program Committee member for the Defense Credit Union Council and as a member and Chairman of the European Defense Credit Union Council.  Those ties also helped Financial continue to serve military service men and women and veterans throughout Indiana and beyond.

His countless hours of volunteer service to Financial Center speak to his passion for helping people, and as a result, credit unions.

Campbell and his wife reside in Greenwood, Indiana, and look forward to traveling in retirement.
