INDIANAPOLISCycleBar, a new concept in indoor cycling that offers a high energy workout in a rock concert-like atmosphere, announces today the opening of its newest studio, conveniently located at 6010 W. 86TH St., Suite 130 in the Traders Point shopping center.

CycleBar Traders Point will celebrate its grand opening with a school supply donation drive benefitting Teachers’ Treasures, a local non-profit that obtains and distributes school supplies free to teachers of students in need.

From April 7 through April 17, CycleBar Traders Point will offer 50 CycleBlast classes to the public free of charge. The studio’s only request? VIP and CycleBlast riders are encouraged to bring spare office supplies, pens, pencils, binders, and school supplies to CycleBar Traders Point as a special donation toTeachers’ Treasures.

“We are absolutely thrilled to bring not just our studio, but our passion for giving back to the community,” said Eric Huffine, owner of CycleBar Traders Point. “My wife Debbie is a middle school teacher and she sees students every day who are not equipped with the school supplies they need. At CycleBar, we are dedicated to creating a community of indoor cyclists, but more importantly, we want to do good for our local neighbors – starting with a Teachers’ Treasures donation drive to help students across Marion County.”

“Our area teachers and students will benefit enormously from this partnership,” said Margaret Sheehan, executive director of Teachers’ Treasures. “We are appreciative of CycleBar’s commitment to the community and in particular, to teachers and education. We welcome this opportunity and value the relationship!”

CycleBar Traders Point will offer a pay-per-class model, with no membership necessary and a special discount for area teachers and public service officials. Easy online booking allows guests to purchase class packages and reserve a specific bike up to a week in advance. Concierge service and free amenities include water bottles, clip-in shoe rentals, towels, showers, and lockers.
