Just north of the Cultural Trail on Capitol Avenue, the TapRoom is a buzzing meeting spot for downtown dwellers, avid cyclists, schnazzy suits, and all walks of craft beer enthusiasts in Indiana. The TapRoom is designed to be your
downtown living room—to kick back and enjoy a pint, a cocktail or glass of wine amongst friends or have a hand-made sandwich or pizza from our scratch kitchen. Our rustic and urban space is ideal for both business pow-wows and catching up with good company. Leather couches, handcrafted farmhouse tables, and our warm fireplace make for a welcoming atmosphere, as does our friendly and craft-beer-lovin’ TapRoom BeerTenders.
We deem ourselves a malt-forward brewery. Malt is one of the key ingredients in beer. Malted barley is most commonly used for brewing, but wheat, rye, oats, millet, sorghum, rice and corn have all seen their brewing days. The combination of malts used in the brewing process play a large role in the beer’s character. You can thank a unique malt bill for the roasty, toasty goodness of Brickhouse Roasted Amber Ale and the sweet toffee notes in our Red Sunday Irish Red Ale. Sure, we brew hoppy beers too, but we tend to favor beers with a bit more color, strength and character.
