Who we are
LifeSmart Youth™ guides Indiana youth to lead healthy and safe lives. In partnership with schools and camps, our Health Educators teach youth valuable whole-life skills to develop healthy peer and teen dating relationships and understand their growing bodies and reproductive health. We believe the world needs kids who aren’t just book smart or street smart, but life smart.
We currently deliver more than 67,000 educational hours of evidence-informed and medically accurate programming to over 22,000 youth (grades K–10) in 110 schools and summer camps in 10 Indiana counties. These students often represent Indiana’s most vulnerable youth based on their geographic location, socio-economic level, ethnicity, and/or other health risk factors.
When youth learn to make responsible choices and adopt healthy behaviors, they are more likely to stay in school, excel in their studies, and strive for their future goals. Each program we offer strives to empower students to do just that by providing relevant, age-appropriate, engaging information through five school-based health education programs.
