Since its launch on January 16, 2013, Indy Eleven’s mission – “To win championships with and for the community” – has stayed true to its aim of fielding a team that represents the State of Indiana proudly on and off the field.
The 2020 season marks Indy Eleven’s seventh year of play overall and third season in the United Soccer League Championship, a 35-team professional soccer league based across the United States. As of early July 2020, the team is set to resume a revamped 16-game USL Championship regular season that will consist of 10 home games at Lucas Oil Stadium – in front of a limited number of fans per an approved health and safety plan in accordance with local, state and federal guidelines. On January 31, 2017, Indy Eleven submitted a bid for an expansion franchise in Major League Soccer (MLS), the First Division of pro soccer in the United States and Canada as recognized by U.S. Soccer.
