FIRST Indiana Robotics is an organization dedicated to growing FIRST robotics programs in the state of Indiana. Founded in the fall of 2001 as the Indiana-based affiliate of FIRST. FIRST Indiana Robotics brings FIRST programming to students in grades K-12, teaching them hands-on skills in engineering, science, and technology that they can relate back to their classwork.
We believe young people should have the opportunity to choose their career path regardless of zip code or life circumstances. Our mentors guide students through complex engineering challenges, but more importantly pass on communication skills, teamwork, and perseverance through failure in order to prepare our young people for the workforce.
We want to work with your organization or company to help you own your workforce pipeline and engage your employees in community outreach.
If you would like to learn how your company can partner with FIRST Indiana Robotics to expand access to this world-class STEM program around the state, contact Megan Cabral, Development Coordinator – firstname.lastname@example.org
