Deeply Ingrained, Inc, DBA Socially Distant Woodworking(SDWW) is committed to providing opportunities that encourage creativity, learning and development through woodworking in the Indianapolis community.

SDWW currently provide two programs. SDWW designs and manufactures a unique woodworking project for distribution to the public and partner organizations. Each project is designed to encourage creativity and teach different skills. SDWW also provides hands-on mobile workshops that take participants start to finish through a handmade project. Workshops are held on-site at partner locations for the comfort and convenience of the participants. All materials and tools are provided by SDWW.

At its core, SDWW programming is rooted in the positive youth development framework. Participants learn new skills and techniques that can translate into interest or competence in a STEAM or trade-related field. They gain confidence and a sense of pride by building something from start to finish and seeing a completed project. Workshops help build connections between participants through learning and shared accomplishments.
