A program of Indy Chamber’s Business Ownership Initiative, the ReEntry Entrepreneurship Development Initiative (REDi) addresses the likely connection between entrepreneurship and reducing the rate of re-offending by providing technical business training and education to incarcerated and formerly-incarcerated individuals. In the next installment of the Virtual Town Hall Series, learn more about the upcoming REDi Pitch Night on September 16 from Neil Metzger, REDi Program manager and hear a testimonial from recent winner, Mark Harlsey. Rick Proctor, Executive Director of Entrepreneur Services and BOI will moderate the conversation.
Mark Harlsey is a budding Tech Innovator and founder of KiteMailApp. Having experienced first-hand the devastating effects of the communication gap between individuals experiencing isolation through incarceration and their “support system”, he has dedicated his entrepreneurial efforts and technological prowess into bridging the gap between the two. He is currently an Admissions Advisor at Kenzie Academy.
