SUMMARY:Storytelling Workshop
DESCRIPTION:Learn to tell stories that move people and deliver results. \n\n\n\n\nA story is one of the most powerful assets you can bring to your business. These interactive storytelling workshops\, designed as a three-part course led by Anthony Murdock II\, will help aspiring storytellers turn their experiences and perspectives into compelling\, engaging storylines that connect with audiences. \nSession 1: Oct. 13\nFoundation & Frameworks for Storytelling – In this session\, participants will learn about two frameworks for entrepreneurial storytelling: 5-6-7 and S-V-L. These frameworks will give participants an evergreen tool to turn their experiences and perspectives into assets they can leverage for impact and ROI. \nSession 2: Oct. 20\nSkill-building for Leaders who Leverage Storytelling – Building off the previous week\, this skill-building experience will teach participants how to leverage the assets they created (their stories) to break\, build\, and bridge. \nSession 3: Oct. 27\nPut It Into Practice! – This session will build off the first two sessions\, providing time and space for participants to apply what they have learned in real-life and mock scenarios that mirror their life and career experiences. \nAnd because great storytelling is better fueled with great food\, lunch is included in the ticket price. \n\n\n\n\nAbout the Speaker\nAnthony Murdock II is a purpose-driven\, action-oriented\, servant-leader and proud product of Indianapolis\, Indiana. He’s the principal and founder of the Black Liberation Ecosystem\, a company that transforms dreams of freedom into realities of liberation through entrepreneurial storytelling. Outside of running his enterprise\, Murdock teaches a course called “Entrepreneurial Storytelling” at the Lacy School of Business at Butler University and serves as a trustee there. He also serves on the board for The Habitat for Humanity of Greater Indianapolis and University High School of Indiana. Last but not least\, he is a member of Eastern Star Church and Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity\, Inc.
