DESCRIPTION:Just announced\, the City of Indianapolis\, in partnership with Mayor Hogsett\, Representative Andre Carson\, Indy Chamber\, and Rethink 65/70\, received a $2 million grant from the US Department of Transportation. This award will fund the Reconnecting Communities Planning Study to evaluate the redevelopment of the I-65/70 Inner Loop\, a project that promises to be catalytic for the State of Indiana\, Governor Eric Holcomb\, Senator Mike Braun\, and Senator Todd Young. The concept of recessed highways connecting our neighborhoods is a direct result of the Accelerate Indy Collaboratory\, a forum to accelerate transformational thinking and investment in our region. \nAs this study begins\, we invite you to learn more and get engaged in the planning process.
