The Roundtable\, led through a partnership between the Indy Chamber and Mid-States Minority Supplier Development Council\, guides companies in creating a supplier diversity program that best meets its needs by focusing on a minimum of eight key best practices to reduce racial disparities and drive business success metrics. Additionally\, the Roundtable connects Black and minority business owners with networks\, support\, and resources that may be unknown or underutilized through proactive identification\, targeted engagement\, and delivering more practical and relevant content. The Indy Black Chamber is proud to be a partner of the BEI Procurement Roundtable. About Business Equity for Indy \nIn the fall of 2020\, the Greater Indianapolis Chamber of Commerce (Indy Chamber) along with the Central Indiana Corporate Partnership (CICP) in collaboration with the Indianapolis Urban League launched Business Equity for Indy (BEI). Following a summer that witnessed a new level of awareness of the deep racial disparities that continue to confront Central Indiana and the country\, as well as a devastating pandemic\, BEI was created to grow a more inclusive business climate and build greater equity and economic opportunity for the Indy Region’s Black residents and people of color. The Indy Black Chamber is proud to be a partner of the BEI Procurement Roundtable.
