Join us to talk shop, meet new people, visit venues around town, and share updates with the music community.
About this Event
As the behind-the-scenes data gathering process of theIndy Music Strategy unfolds, we want people passionate about music, music makers, fans, industry folk, etc to be able to get together and start having conversations. The feedback we received from our first series of events told us that you want a chance to get together in a social setting, to talk shop, meet new people, and reconnect with each other.
We will be setting up “Indy Music Socials” around town, a recurring, monthly gathering at rotating venues. This also gives our partner organizations an easy way to be a part of the discussion and host events in their own spaces and neighborhoods, and update the community on what they have going on these days. It gives audiences a chance to experience new venues in an accessible way, break down barriers to entry, and plan to come back!
The first event will be held at The Jazz Kitchen to celebrate their 25th anniversary and Jazz Appreciation Month in April! Events will follow the second Tuesday of every month. Want to host? Reach out to Jim Rawlinson at jrawlinson@indychamber.com.
