As the behind-the-scenes data gathering process of the Indy Music Strategy unfolds, we want people passionate about music, music makers, fans, industry folk, etc to be able to get together and start having conversations. Here’s your opportunity to gather in a casual setting, to talk shop, meet new people, and reconnect with each other.
These “Indy Music Socials” are a recurring, monthly gathering at rotating venues. This also gives our partner organizations an easy way to be a part of the discussion and host events in their own spaces and neighborhoods, and update the community on what they have going on these days. It gives audiences a chance to experience new venues in an accessible way, break down barriers to entry, and plan to come back!
For our October event, we’ll be meeting at Rhythm! Discovery Center. Located in the lower level of the Claypool Court Building, at the northwest corner of Illinois and Washington Streets, Rhythm! Discovery Center is the world’s foremost interactive percussion museum, providing innovative programs; interactive, standards-based educational exhibits, and artist performances. Join us to experience the historic venue for yourself!
