Grow Bar Organics is a line of natural, premium hair care products founded in 2018 by Marla Lewis with support from her husband, James. Marla started this business when she was trying to find products to maintain and grow her own natural hair, which was thinning due to work stress and hormonal imbalance. After experimenting with natural oils and botanicals, she wanted to try and help others on their journey to wellness. Grow Bar Organic’s forthcoming core product lines for men and women are a natural haircare routine that not only enhance beauty and wellness, but allow hair to thrive organically from within. Marla and James both have engineering backgrounds, and while their products free of chemicals, parabens and sulfates, developing beauty products mimics the complicated formulations seen in the lab while processing chemicals or in lines of code while developing software solutions. It’s just another reason Marla and James are both equally passionate about these products.
