Fierce Little Bird Productions, in partnership with Josiah Duncan Productions, is set to produce the short film, Midnight at the Diner. Written by local author George Kramer (Blind to Blood, Shattered Lives, Vampires of the Eight), the gritty drama follows a young man, Alex, as he grapples with an ultimatum given to him by a local kingpin: “act, or else.” When two strangers in a diner offer to help, Alex must decide what road he will take. The moral struggle plays out in a style reminiscent of classic Noir films, culminating in a shocking twist.
Pre-production is underway, with casting ongoing and production set to take place in Auburn, Indiana, in June 2024. Adam K. Allen of Fierce Little Bird Productions (Evergreen, Distant Horizons, Slay) is set to direct, with Josiah Duncan of Josiah Duncan Productions (Checkpoint Charlie, The Bet, Trigger Finger) as Director of Photography. Mr. Kramer and Mr. Allen are also acting as Executive Producers for the production, with Mr. Duncan and Paul Radaker of Radaker Media, LLC, operating as Producers. Additional crew and cast announcements will follow as plans develop. Follow the team’s respective social media profiles for more news and updates.
